Sidekickcast Presents...London MCM Expo 2011

Last weekend we sent our front-line roaving reporter Sidekick, Joe Glass (The Pride, Stiffs) to the MCM Expo at London's Excel centre, his mission was to enjoy the show and pick up some interviews, he accepted and came through in true Sidekick style.
On this episode of Sidekickcast Presents... we hear from Howard Hardiman (The Lengths, The Badger), Adam Cadwell (The Everyday, Blood Blokes), Marc Ellerby ( Chloe Noonan: Monster Hunter, The Pride, CBGB), Becky Cloonan (Wolves, Flight, American Virgin) and Kieron Gillen ( Phonogram, Uncanny X-Men, Journey into Mystery).
Music through the episode is a track called At Home by Crystal Fighters which was used in the Thrill Electric trailer revelealed at the Expo, which you can see here.
As always our thanks to the guests for agreeing to to talk to us and a special thanks to Joe Glass for stepping up to the plate.

Sidekickcast Presents...Sidekicks on Tour Thought Bubble 2010

Better late than never we present to you the Sidekicks on Tour at Thought Bubble 2010. Sidekicks Ned, Lil Fat Mikey and Gavin take their first trip up to the Leeds Film Festival which hosts the Thought Bubble comic festival each year. We partied hard but were able to tear ourselves away from the bar to get back on the interview trail with Paul Cornell (Captain Britain & MI:13, Action Comics), Kayla Marie Hillier (Galavant), Garen Ewing (The Rainbow Orchid), Daniel Clifford (Sugar Glider) and Kieron Gillen (Thor, Phonogram, Uncanny X-Men). This really was the perfect con to bring this year's season to a close, so sit back, relax and relive it with some of your favourite sidekicks.

Sidekickcast Episode #5 - I Say thee Nay!
This week on The Sidekickcast we see the triumphant return of some Sidekicks that have been MIA with the return of X-centric Ned and Alex's final chapter review of The Dark Knight Returns in Dig This!
Stack Attack plays catch up as we now have access to our comic book shop once again so we're able to pick up on the important issues we may have missed over the last month. Reviews include Magneto: Testament #2, 1985 #6, Back to Brooklyn #2, X-Men Legacy #216-217, Uncanny X-Men #503 and we catch up with Ultimatum in the Ultimate Universe.
X-centric Ned fulfills his promise to delve deep into the events that lead to Angel's original fall from grace to become the recently returned Archangel. You may think you know the X-Men but this may shed a whole new light upon them and their motivations.
With The Boneman taking a 1-0 lead last time in Secrets and Lies will the rest of the Sidekicks be able to even the score this week and weed out his carefully crafted falseties. And will the Sidekickcast's tough customer Marshall carry on reading Marvel Comics' The Twelve, find out in Knowing Me, Knowing You.
We'd like to take this opportunity to say that whatever you hear in this podcast we are all very big fans of Mr Kevin Bacon and wish him well, no matter how it may sound.
