Sidekickcast Episode #15 - The Laroccagate Affair

Civil War Hits the Sidekicks in more ways than one as Lil' Fat Mikey arrives to cover Marvel's Civl War in Dig This! and the ongoing Salvador Larocca debate splits regular Sidekick hosts Dan (Marshall Law) and Gavin (The Boneman) right down the middle. Will this war end the same as Marvels? And if so who's gonna get shot?!
In Stack Attack this episode we review Uncanny X-Men #507, X-Men: Legacy #222, Cable #13, Irredeemable #1, Flash: Rebirth #1, Superman: World of New Krypton #1-2, Invincible Iron Man #12-13, Captain Britain & MI:13 #12, Deadpool: Games of Death, Deadpool: Suicide Kings #1, Thunderbolts #130, Batman: Battle for the Cowl #2 and many more.
The battle continues into Secrets and Lies, with Dan on a charge backed up by the extra firepower of Mikey. Gavin will have to bring out the big guns to pull the wool over these sagacious eyes. Knowing Me, Knowing You get's flipped on it's head aswell as finally getting into Secret Six #2. This week's Snikt! was brought to you by Kester Millman and in a lot of ways he provided the outtakes after the outro music.
Sidekickcast Episode #10 - Something Furry this Way Comes
This week Triv returns to update us on his burgeoning comic collecting habit and to cover The Walking Dead in our new reader section Dig This!. We stay on a horror tip as Gavin (The Boneman) gushes over Locke and Key: Welcome to Lovecraft in Trade Talk. And will Dan (Marshalllaw) enjoy The Boys volume.1 enough to pick up volume.2 for Knowing Me, Knowing You? And a message from the X-Centric UnderGround makes it's way out of Xaviers School for Gifted Youngsters.
We've got a packed package of new comics to cover in Stack Attack including Secret Six #5, Spider-Man Noir #1, Cable #10, Dark Avengers #1, Mighty Avengers #21, The Punisher #1, The Punisher: War Zone #4-5, Justice Society of America #22, Captain Britain & MI:13 #9, X-Men: Legacy #220, Uncanny X-Men Annual #2 and many more! Just how many comics can Gavin review in 2 minutes, you're about to find out.
A tense yet informative Secrets and Lies this week as the score is now tied so every point counts, whose side are you on? We have lots of other Geek chatter in any other business with discussions on The Spirit, The Wrestler, Battlestar Galactica, The Clone Wars and Wolverine and the X-Men, aswell as a triumphant return for Challenge Mikey.
Don't forget to check out the outtakes after our outro music.
Sidekickcast Episode #7 - Bonapalooza
The Bonapalooza Birthday Spectacular hits the Sidekicks into a drunken frenzy making it pretty difficult to get much comic talk done at all and what there is could be described as the ravings of the town boozehound. All the brothers made it on to this episode with the return of Davlo for his Dig This! review of Batman R.I.P. , the dramatic return of X-centric Ned with an exciting new format and interesting new direction and of course your regular hosts Dan and Gavin.
In Stack Attack we cover X-Factor #37, Secret Invasion #8, New Avengers #47, Cable #9, X-Force #9, X-Men: legacy #218, Marvels: Eye of the Camera #1 and Gigantic #1.
Will the Sidekicks claw some points back in Secrets and Lies or will the Boneman's masterplan to confuse and confounder continue? The Twelve is out and FEAR Agent is in for Knowing Me, Knowing You.
Warning this episode contains an extraordinary amount of spoilers concerning Batman R.I.P. and Secret Invasion, as well as excessive amounts of alcohol so expect extra long out-takes after the outro music.
Sidekickcast Episode #4 - Everybody Hates Dan
Things get real at Sidekick central, find out just why everybody hates Dan?! This week your regular team have a man down as X-centric Ned takes a much needed rest but Dan (Marshall Law) and Gavin (The Boneman) are in full effect and joined by new sidekick John (Gutterballs) and the Wizard of the World Wide Web Neil (The Boatman).
Reviewed in Stack Attack this episode we have Secret Invasion #7, New Avengers #45-46, Mighty Avengers #19, Daredevil #111, Back to Brooklyn #1 and Invincible Iron Man #1-6. With no X-centric Ned this week we had to think fast and replace him with something just as high brow, so we came up with Secrets and Lies, our very own comic book gameshow. The question you've waiting two weeks to find will be answered in Knowing Me, Knowing You, will Dan be able to see past dopey names and enjoy Marvel's The Twelve?
Neil tackles Mark Millar's Superman: Red Son in Dig This!, will he dig it? Do you dig it? Why not let us know by joining us on the comic forums. And we finish off with some movie talk with the DVD release of The Incredible Hulk and recent releses at the cinema.
Don't forget to listen past our outro music for hilarious (some may say) out-takes from your Sidekickcast team.
