To kick off the panel sessions at Cardiff Expo this year we presented 'WHAT’S THAT COMING OVER THE HILL? WELSH COMICS’ DARK SIDE' with Rich McAuliffe (Damaged Goods), Jamie Lambert (Dexter's Half Dozen), Dave Clifford (Dexter's Half Dozen) and Simon Wyatt (Unbelievable). Each creator gives us a run down of their book, a little behind the scenes on the process and some general horror inspirations banter.

This being the SIdekickcast, we manage to throw a quiz in there and take some questions from the audience.

This episode of the Sidekickcast is brought you in association with Geek News Radio and was broadcast live on Saturday 18th February.

Join Gavin, Dan and guest host Rob Fish for exactly one hour of live Sidekick and sometimes they even talk about comic books. In the news is Cardiff Comic Expo, the launch of Into the Woods, Before Watchmen and lawsuits a plenty.

A limited Stack Attack due to time constraints but we manage to get in reviews of Batman #6, The New Avengers #21 and Lou Scannon #1.

The comic book news quiz with a twist, Secrets and Lies manages to baffle even the most acute comic book minds but how will Rob Fish, owner of Fish4Comics cope, surely he should have no problem? We finish the podcast with a very brief, Amazing Fantasy Team Up before making way for the rest of that night’s live line up. We even manage to get some out-takes in just after the outro music.

Regular Sidekick hosts, Gavin and Dan take a (drunken) backseat as Mikey Bumchin rocks up for the Bumchin Takeover of the Sidekickcast. All Bumchin, all the time.

Mike lays down the law with some Sidekick news followed by Stack Attaack reviews including; X-Men Legacy #260.1, X-Men Legacy #261, Wolverine and the X-Men #4, Uncanny X-Force #19.1, Uncanny X-Force #20, Batman #5, Captain America #8, Secret Avengers #21.1 and Daredevil #8.

The script is flipped in Secrets and Lies, the comic book news quiz with a twist and a sting in it's tail. The choice for #youdecide this week is Smack My Pitch Up, which leads to some interesting chat.
