Well it's all done and I feel empty, I may start Lost all over again just to really punish myself. The show went out true to itself leaving us with questions but emotional satisfaction. We couldn't pass up the chance of one last Lost flavoured Something Silly so enjoy this video from Jimmy Kimmel.

Ok confession time, I don't really know what's coming in the final season of Lost I just wanted an excuse to publish this most awesome poster by stunning artist Eric Tan. The poster is one of 16 that are being put out to celebrate and promote the final season of the now almost legendary tv show. You may remember we've featured his work before here because of the stunning X-Men poster he did. He's one of the guys that works on Pixar stuff and his latest work for Up! blew me away aswell as being hilarious, check it out.

So I'm a little bit obsessed with Lost, have been since day one as soon as the fifth season finished I started scouring the internet for the new viral marketing ploy (more on that soon). You can then imagine my joy when a friend pointed out the new Dharma Initiation kit Season 5 box set on docartz site. - well worth a frequent vist if you're a Lost fan

This truly is a thing of beauty, you get a load of pamphlets, Dharma patches, induction video and even the discs themselves come in little pouches that look like old school floppy discs. I love it and must have it. I have no idea if this is going to be a U.S. only product or how I'm going to feel about it not fitting in with the rest of my Lost box sets but I don't care it shall be mine. Please be real, it is according to Amazon.

It seems these Something Silly posts have been taking a more personal turn lately and today is no exception. It's my girlfriend Knuckles' birthday this week and the Crazy Boatman, frequent poster on the Sidekick blog and website designer extraordinaire got her the geekiest present of her life and she loved it. Anyone that has heard Knuckles on the Sidekickcast will know she's not too into the Geek stuff but one thing she really does love, like many mainstream geeks in training, is Lost. So for her birthday Boatman made for her this fine Dharma Initiative card and bottle of Tequilla. It's such a good job I feel like we've been living @ the Swan hatch all weekend inputting numbers in order to save the world...4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42...just what does it all mean?

The new trailer for Lost Season 5 can be found here, and although there's not much new on offer but it has whet my appetite for the return of the J.J.Abrams in January 2009. There are only two shows that I truly miss, this and the undeniably fantastic Battlestar Galactica. With both these shows coming back in the new year I'll happier than a pig in televisual sh...well you get the idea.
