Through the Keyhole: Locke & Key TV Trailer

Is it better to know what you could've had? You can't go back so what's the point? Normally I'd agree with that sentiment but when I saw that the pilot trailer for the now defunct Locke and Key TV show was online, I just couldn't help myself. If you feel the same way continue past the jump to take a look for yourself, we can discuss our issues there...
Pimping: Fringe - Where is Peter Bishop?

With the return of "Fringe" to American TV, shouldn't the question be "Is Peter Alive....?"
Continue past the jump to learn more but be warned, here be SPOILERS!
The Wolverine Finally Lands a Director

According to Deadline (who are usually fairly reliable) James Mangold is the chosen director for Hugh Jackman's second solo outing as the X-Men's Wolverine. Mangold has pretty good form as far as I'm concerned having previously directed Cop Land, Girl Interrupted, Identity and 3:10 to Yuma, I even surprisingly enjoyed his Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz vehicle, Knight and Day.
The Best X-Men: First Class Posters...Well Better than the Offical Ones!

I was just bobbling around the internet thinking about X-Men: First Class as I often do on a Monday morning when I thought I'd take a look at the X-Men Movies Facebook page when I came across these fantastic fan made posters. Clearly they're fan made but they still easily outshine the actual X-Men: First Class posters, examples of which, let's call the first one exhibit A, can be found here and the second one exhibit B can be found here.
Fox Foolishly Pass on Locke & Key
Link: http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/05/10/fox-bones-spin-off-the-finder/

Just a quick one, according to Entertainment Weekly, Fox have passed on the pilot of supernatural thriller, Locke & Key. Obviously not having seen the actual pilot it may turn out that it isn't any good but judging on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's source material and the level of support for a TV version this seems like a foolish move from Fox.
Fox Screw X-Men: First Class...Again!

Let me say this first, I am not a ranter, I am not an irrational fanboy hater, I am not Jack's inflamed sense of rejection (I am a fan of Fight Club, clearly) but I am pissed at Fox, for what seems like far too many times to count Fox's marketing deprtmnet have dropped the ball, this time with The X-Men: First Class poster. X-Men: First No Class?! New Promo pictures. WTF?! *UPDATED*
Link: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/48147

So originally this post was going to be all about the recent appalling X-Men: First Class promo image that was released/leaked(?). Now however, obviously worried by the hugely negative response to said promo image have released a couple of very high resolution, shiny and also in fact pretty of Eric and Chuck otherwise known as Magneto and Professor X.
X-Men Origins: Wovlerine Now all 3 TV spots! Updated!! Again!! (Check out 2 videos below)
Link: http://www.x-menorigins.com/
Check out this 1st of 3 TV promos for X-Men Origins: Wolverine the new film from Fox studios starring the man with the adamantium laced attitude. Looks as though they're proper going back to the comics and taking their lead from the 2001 Wolverine comic Origin, with of course some celluloid liberties attached like Sabretooth and Wolverine are brothers?! WTF?! Been trying to get hold of the other two parts but that has proved very difficult as Fox seem to be blocking any site that posts these videos. So if anyone knows where I can pick these up let me know so I can share them with the world.
As promised, here are the other two videos...finally
Watching the Watchmen, maybe not? Part Five - Resolution
Link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7832719.stm

In a conclusion to Watchmen-Gate that we all predicted, the film will go ahead as a settlement has been reached. The studios both released statements last night: "Warner Bros. acknowledges that Fox acted in good faith in bringing its claims, which were asserted prior to the start of principal photography," the statement read. "Fox acknowledges that Warner Bros. acted in good faith defending against those claims." so they've kissed and made up. They are set to present the settlement, to Judge Gary Feess today in the hope that he will close the case on this matter. The exact details of that settlement have not been disclosed but is said to include a sizeable cash payment and percentage share of the box office profits for Fox. Fox will however not have any right to the distribution and property rights of The Watchmen movie. In a joint statement today they said: "Warner Bros. and Fox, like all Watchmen fans, look forward with great anticipation to this film's 6 March release in theatres."
This is what I was hoping for and the best result all around, we'll all get to see the Watchmen movie as it was originally intended. Although this dispute has probably cost Warner Brothers more than they would've liked it could end being a blessing in disguise. The media coverage this case has caused has been astronomical and you just can't put a price on the value of putting the movie on the lips and minds of any man woman or child that watches the news, reads a newspaper or surfs the web. Who Watches the Watchmen? Freaking Everybody!
Watching the Watchmen, maybe not? Part Four

Well slap my arse and call me the Silk Spectre! You turn your back on 'Watchmen-Gate' for five minutes and the shit hits the fan, big time. HitFlix published an open letter from Watchmen producer Lloyd Levin on thursday that strongly criticises Fox for being opportunistic and cynical in it's attempts to cash in on the Watchmen movie. He says they were offered the movie but passed on it as they were unwilling to take the financial and critical risk, a gamble Warners were willing to take and should be rightly rewarded for (To read the full letter click HERE).
