Still undecided whether there is going to be a Sidekick presence at October's MCM Expo but the news that Gail Simone will be appearing may've just forced my hand, you glorious MCM bastards. Now we just need to get a team together for the Battle of the Blooggers.

Back again for the final update with Logan's teams now complete. First question I have is this Beast The Dark Beast or our very own 616 Beast? I've always been a big Beast, whichever universe he's from so I'm happy to see him back in the X-fold. Is that Rachel Grey/Summers looking all hound-like backing up X-Men: Legacy? Pretty cool if it is. How long has X-Factor has such a large team? Not read it in a while but the ranks seem to have swelled quite considerably since I last turned those pages. Seems more like a Detective Army rather than Agency.

Fear Itself descends upon Wolverine's X-Force in a most Uncanny way, it's Uncanny X-Force vs a group of murderous zealots...so what else is new?! Well, this limited series is brought to you by Sidekick favourite, Rob Williams, he's Welsh and he did our live Secrets and Lies, of course he's our favourite, and on art, Simone Bianchi, who Sidekickcast co-host Dan has been quite rude about in the past but I like his style. Not just that but I think you'll recognise the guy X-Force have got strapped down and look like they'r about to torture, abrother in arms! Any excuse to see a little more of this dynamic and quite frankly kick-ass team, and I'm sold, so bring it on, I can't wait for 6th July and neither should you! Hey Sidekicks, long time no see. I trust you're all well and enjoyed the outstanding job @Neon_Lynx did editing the blog whilst I was getting a True Brit tan in sunny Spain? Came home drunk from the pub last week and so eager was I to get into Uncanny X-Force #1 I intoxicato-read it and loved it. Still haven't gone back sober just in case it's not as good as I remember, may try to do the whole series drunk, it's the future I tells ya!

Previously on X-Force...

So there it is, Uncanny X-Force. Love the creative team (FEAR Agent veterans), not so sure about the actual team. Marvel, do we really need another book with Deadpool in it? I used to love the guy but he's been completely over-exposed and now just pisses me off. Of course I'm being ridiculous, they say there are no bad characters, only bad writers and Rick Remender is a very, very good writer, in his hands I'm hoping I learn to love the Merc with a Mouth once again. No matter what happens, there is one thing I am sure about, it's going to look fantastic, just the few snippets of Jerome Opena's stunning art in the trailer have convinced me of that.

X-Force has been one of the few X-titles of the last few years that I've consistently enjoyed and that's mainly down to the excellent writing from Carig Kyle and Christopher Yost. Well come October there will be somebody else in charge of the book that will be relaunced as Uncanny X-Force and I couldn't be happier about it. If anybody else had been put on this book I would've been thrown into a geek rage but Marvel have chosen extremely well and put the FEAR Agent team of Rick Remender and Jerome Opena in the driver's seat. The new lineup will be: Wolverine, Archangel, Fantomex, Psylocke and Deadpool. Can't say I'm totally loving that team, especially as Deadpool is really starting to get on my tits but I'm more than willing to give it a go as I'm sure Remender has some cool ideas for these guys especially as theyy're going up against the return of EN Sabuh Nur himself; Apocalypse.

Just a quick update here, remember the post about the re-shoots for Wolverine:Origins, what do you mean no? Well for those who weren't paying attention the first time check it out HERE and be paniced no more as Hugh Jackman, Mr Oscar himself, has revealed all. In a personal letter to fans Jackman assures fans that the re-shoots were neccessary because of actors schedules, and what has become clear in recent days is that he is exclusively talking about Ryan Reynolds who is adding to his role as Deadpool in the movie. This is brilliant news as I can't wait to see a celluloid Merc with a Mouth and I'm sure this is a good sign that a solo Deadpool movie could be on the cards. In other Jackman news, he revealed this week that his wife likes it when he gets some lovin' done in his X-Men outfit...Excelsior!
