The Superhero Game: Trickier than it looks

Everyone wants to be a superhero, if you're a struggling actor or looking to revitalize that burnt out career playing a kick ass superhero in a very much in vogue comic book movie could be just the thing to put your name on the right lips, both literally and figuratively. It's a tricky game though, make the wrong choice and you could end up further down the ladder than when you started out, this game has both 'Winners' and 'Losers':

Winners
Robert Downey Jr.
Christian Bale
Ryan Reynolds
Tobey Maguire
Michael Keaton
Chrostopher Reeve
Hugh Jackman

Losers
Thomas Jayne
Brandon Routh
Wesley Snipes
Val Kilmer
Ben Affleck
Eric Bana
Sean Connery
Halle Berry
Ieuan Griffiths
Jessica Alba
Michael Chiklis
Jennifer Garner
Nicholas Cage
Will Smith
Ron Pearlman

New Terminator: Salvation Flash Poster

Thanks to those kind gentlemen over at Geek Syndicate we've got this truly awesome poster for Terminator: Salvation to show you. It comes from the Sony pictures website, is this not a Warners film? Maybe Sony are distributing it, anyway, however it get's to us it can't be soon enough for this movie fan. I really wasn't too sure about this production but everything I've seen so far makes me think this could be something special. Whatever happens with the film I've at least been impressed with the level of detail and thought that has gone into the design and promotinonal material so far, it shows that the franchise is being treated with the respect it deserves.
Terminator: Salvation is released in the U.S. 22nd May 2009, stars Christian Bale and Sam Worthington and is directed and produced by McG.

Thanks alot Brown on Brown

Thanks to the guys at ACIN we can take a look at the Terminator designs for the latest installment in the seires coming to us June 2009. Terminator: Salvation is the fourth film in the series but the first to be directed by McG and star Christian Bale as leader of the human resistance John Connor.

I like everything I've seen of this movie so far, which hasn't been too much but I'm on board with the premise. I think the human/terminator war is the only way to go with this series and the attachment of an actor of Bale's calibre is comforting. The new Terminators look pretty cool but feel like something from the Matrix world, I suppose this isn't surprising given the similarity in the central concepts of both film series.
