The Avengers Trailer; A Sidekick's View

Geez, you go away on business for a couple of days and Marvel have the indecency to release a fully fledged teaser trailer for possibly the most anticipated comic book movie of all time; The Avengers. SO please watch the trailer and then join me after the jump for a Sidekick's view:
Ten Day Warning: Bored to Death: Framed

By now y'all know I've got a full on robot chubby for Bored to Death, here's your 10 day warning, the boys are back...
New Batman: Year One Clip

The DC animation wagon of quality just keeps on trucking with the latest offering Batman: Year One, adapted from Frank Miller's seminal comic of the same name. Not long to wait now as it'll be released in the US 18th October.
Continue past the jump for the clip...
Shelley Plays...MineCraft (Badly)
My name is Shelley, and I am a role-plaholic. I think that's the official term I’ve just coined right there.
I'll mostly play MMOs, medieval-themed RPGs on the Xbox (or anything where you collect stuff and things. ALL OF THE THINGS) and very few PC games excepting Minecraft, which I might play a bit too much for my own good.
There's something about RPGs that appeals to me... probably because they're an escape from my real life. My real life in which, believe it or not, I can't commandeer the USS Starship Enterprise, build powered minecarts in which to carry my mountains of diamonds or punch a rat to death with my bare fists (believe me, I've tried).
RPGs are the best. They're my lifelong love affair. So watch me play them and generally dick about in the voiceovers, won't you?
Through the Keyhole: Locke & Key TV Trailer

Is it better to know what you could've had? You can't go back so what's the point? Normally I'd agree with that sentiment but when I saw that the pilot trailer for the now defunct Locke and Key TV show was online, I just couldn't help myself. If you feel the same way continue past the jump to take a look for yourself, we can discuss our issues there...
Pimping: Long Live The Immortals
When I saw the first trailer for The Immortals, I did actually laugh out loud, pretty rude considering I was in the cinema at the time. This second trailer really isn't helping things, will it be long live the Immortals or The Immortals who? May be worth checking just to see how much of a man of steel Henry Cavill really is.
Bored to Death Season Three Teaser

The above image has the distinct honour of acting as the longest running desktop wallpaper on my very own Bat computer, over six months, no mean feat considering I usually change the wallpaper more often than I change Captain America underoos. It is of course the dvd cover for the second season of Bored to Death, the show is created and written by Joathan Ames, writer of The Alcoholic and starring Jason Schartzman, Zak Galifianakis and the undeniable Ted Danson. If you haven't seen the HBO show then you're sorely missing out and you have my pity. Last season saw the most unlikely trio visiting Brooklyn's Bergen Street Comics, the success of Ray's (Galifianakis) self-published Super Ray comic and the finale was set in a Brooklyn Comic Con, it's not really about comics though, I'm just trying to reel you in.
Frank Miller's Holy Terror Trailer

Batman vs Al Qaeda. Simple idea, quite possibly completely inappropriate. So if you're Frank Miller and you want to tell this story what do you do? Well, you go see some of your film studio buddies who just happen to be moving into the comic book business and pimp the idea to them, albeit with a completely new and different hero to Batman. Meet The Fixer in Frank Miller and Legendary Comics' Holy Terror:
Official Amazing Spider-Man Trailer Not Leaked in HD
