Mike's Library Hot Picks: The List

Gavin became the mighty Bones, and I became Bum-Chin, the most powerful man in the universe!
Well that’s that done, on with the review. This week is a look back at a darker time for the Marvel universe; it’s a book set bang smack in the middle of Dark Reign. Once again it features a number of stories so I will be focusing on them each listing the writers and artists and giving information of what to pick up after each story and how we got to where the story starts.
The Book is “The List” it was published originally in 2009 and was collected in a nice book that has some great stories in it. When these stories originally came out I only picked up the Uncanny X-men version as it became clear that it was essentially a jumping on point book for other titles. The list is something that Norman “Green Goblin” Osborn creates to make life easier for him and contains the following things to do:
Eliminate Daredevil
Kill Namor
Kill Frank Castle (The Punisher)
Kill Nick Fury
Neutralize Bruce Banner (The Hulk)
Control The World
Kill Spiderman
New Ultimate Spidey!

Ultimate Spider-Man is dead...long live Ultimate Spider-Man!
I have avoided like the plague any spoilers for The Death of Ultimate Spider-Man, not because it's a book I read or a story I'm particularly interested in but because if I know what happens I am bound to spoil it for someone that does not. With that in mind, if you do not want to see what the New Ultimate Spider-Man will look like then do not go past the jump.
Death of Superman Spider-Man poly bags
Don't know about you guys but I haven't been following the Death of Spider-Man (Ultimate universe kids, don't get too flappy just yet!), not even sure if it's actually started but what I do know is that Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #160 comes in a very cheeky poly bag. This is to keep it from prying eyes/make it a collector's item/take the piss out of DC.
Moon Knight #1 Preview & a whole lot more!

Moon Knight...not a character I've ever really considered, cared about or read...until now. Marvel is relaunching the character as part of it's Big Shots Initiative with Brian Michael Bendis writing and Alex Maleev on art, need I remind you that this is the team that brought us some of the best Daredevil stories that have ever graced the printed page?
Spider-Woman: Agent of SWORD on DVD
I watched a little bit of the Bendis and Maleev Spider-Woman motion comic, I wasn't impressed. I guess I just don't like motion comics, they're like the bastard love child of comics and animation but act more like the ungrateful ginger step-child of the middle-aged single mum you're banging. Too much? Maybe a little too much.
Marvel Big Shots or Marvel Knights?!
This Marvel Big Shots Press Release just appeared in my inbox and the first thing that occured to me was, isn't this just Marvel Knights under another name? Let's take a look at the evidence:
