Dexter's Half Dozen Signing at Cardiff's Comic Guru
Link: http://www.thecomicguru.co.uk/

If you don't know about Dexter's Half Dozen by now then you clearly haven't been paying attention, I am a super-fan of this independent comic book. Don't believe me? Well you can hear me loving issue #4 here and interviewing the creators Jamie Lambert and David Clifford here. So now you know, you'd be foolish to miss an opportunity to meet the guys in person at the Comic Guru on Saturday 24th October where from 12 pm they'll be signing copies of all the released issues so far #1-6.

From the Guru himself:
'Set in the mist of the Second World War, the story follows a crack team of soldiers who have been tasked with preventing the Nazi’s manipulation of the occult for their own nefarious purposes. The series already has a loyal following and with a trade paperback in the works this is an ideal time to get in with the series.'

This weeks entry into the pud pad sketches vault comes courtesy of Dave Clifford, co-founder of Bearded Skull Comics and artist on Dexter's Half Dozen. The choice of sketch is the artists own and all have and will be done on the Art Studio for ipad app.

Just one more short interview left from BICS 2009 (please excuse the sound quality as this was done on the convention floor right at the height of Sunday morning), this time from Bearded Skull Comics. Jamie Lambert and Dave Clifford; two of the nicest men in comics presenting the third issue of Dexter's Half Dozen which covers the exploits of a kick ass commando squad going up against Occult Nazi forces during World War II. Sound good? Well it is and well worth going back and picking up the first two issues, I'm sure if you contact the guys at their Facebook group they'll be able to help get your hands on them.
