New York Comic Con (NYCC) today loses one of it's biggest stars J.Michael Straczynski (JMS) to the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) awards. The script for the Clint Eastwood directed Changeling, written by JMS has been nominated for best original screenplay aswell as five other nominations including best director. JMS has been a favourite writer of mine for a long time especially his work on the show he created Babylon 5 and the fantastic Marvel MAX series Supreme Power, it's about time he got some recognition, I just hope we don't lose him completely to Hollywood.

The 2009 BAFTA ceremonies will be held Sunday, February 8 in London

If you haven't read the graphic novel, then you may not want to watch the trailer as it may give too much away, or it may just be a bunch of random images that look pretty cool, whatever.
