The Daywalker Lives! Blade Anime Teaser Trailer
Link: http://www.animeemanga.com/marvel-e-madhouse-di-nuovo-insieme-per-lanime-blade-879/

Considering Blade started life as a supporting character in The Tomb of Dracula back in the 70's he's had a charmed afterlife. After his first appearance in Tomb #10, he then showed up in nearly every horror book Marvel had including Adventure into Fear and Vampire Tales, before staking his way into the superhero/vigilante genre with Ghost Rider, Nightstalkers and Spider-Man, and we haven't even got into his solo adventures yet! He's had numerous volumes of ongoing titles, one-shots, mini-series's and even made it onto the critically acclaimed Captain Britain and MI:13 team as written by everyone's favourite nice guy, Paul Cornell.
GONZO Blast! Videogame News Round-Ups

Welcome, Sidekicks, to a new feature for the Sidekickcast...
GONZO Blast is a weekly (yeah, sure!) update on big news stories in the world of videogames. The idea is that you come here, read a headline and news snippet and then, when you inevitably something you are interested in, you Google the frak out of that sonovabitch!
The point is that GONZO Blast is just like bumping into your well informed pal who takes a few seconds to tell you a bunch of news - if you're interested, you enquire! If you're not, you smile politely, look at your watch and back slowly towards the door...
Here's how it'll pan out...
Cyber City Oedo 808 - An-Absolutely-Not Suitable-For-Work Tribute.
Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyber_City_Oedo_808

When researching my earlier blog on the Iron Man, Wolverine and Blade anime projects, I was reminded of my favourite anime of all time, Cyber City Oedo 808.
Now I don't really want to go on for hours about how awesome it was, but to my 14 year old mind there was one thing in particular that really stood out.
Click through below to find out what it was.
And please do note that this is not suitable for work. Or for kids. In fact, due to the video's content it should probably not be viewed by anyone.
Anime Invasion of the Marvel U!

Bones posted earlier with some footage from the X-Men Anime and it got me pretty excited.
So I did a little digging and discovered that there are 3 other Marvel Anime projects in the works! It seems this is all old news but then, since I've been tirelessly blogging about video games for you lot, I've kind of had my finger off the pulse. In fact, the last time I looked at animation was waaaaaay back here!
Ladies and gentlemen... may I present to you, for your viewing pleasure, Iron Man Anime and Wolverine Anime. Of course there's a Wolverine Anime...
What can we learn from X-Men Anime Opening Sequence?

The answer to the question posed in the title of this post is simple; not as much as you can learn from the end credits of the X-Men anime.
Cosplay UK Mania at MCM Expo 2010

I had an absolutely great time at the MCM Expo 2010. One of the things that really made it, other than the things discussed by Gavin here, was the Cosplayers. They were an absolutely permanent fixture of the 3 day event, so much so that when on the way back from the Expo I found it weird to look around and not see them brightening up people's days.
So hat's off to all of the Cosplayers that made it to MCM Expo 2010. I didn't manage to make it to the Euro Cosplay finals like I'd wanted to but these folk certainly made up for it. The love and attention to detail that went into these guys' and gals' costumes really needed to be seen first hand to be believed, I just hope that these pics I snapped whilst wandering around do them justice.
If you see yourself here, post a comment at the end - it'd be great to hear from you and also the perfect opportunity for you to inform me that you are in fact Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach and not Aunt May from Spiderman.
Ladies and gents I present to you, and in no particular order, the Cosplayers of MCM Expo 2010!
Live Action Blood: The Last Vampire, trailer
Link: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/40131
Caught this trailer for the Live Action version of Blood: The Last Vampire on AICN and I am very excited. I really enjoyed the original completely digital anime from 2000 but couldn't help feel a little cheated by the brevity of the story. It's left me itching for more and foolishly I missed the manga 2001 sequel Blood: The Last Vampire 2000 so this film is filling the 'Blood' shaped hole in my life.
