We broke the news some time ago that The Thrill Electric trailer would be shown exclusively shown at London's MCM Expo, well that's been and gone and here is that very same trailer:

This digital motion comic by Leah Moore, John Reppion, Emma Vieceli and Windflower Studios looks to be something a little different and another example of comic book stylings crossing over to the Channel 4 mainstream. The way the images are modelled so that they show depth and the word balloons pop out of the screen is something I've never seen before and no matter how this turns out in the end I think we're definitely seeing something that may not shake the world but will certainly put it on notice and is sure to be emulated.

I'll say it now, I know you've all been thinking it, clearly it's time for the Sidekickcast Comic Book TV Show, the Ch4 Friday night entertainment slot has been missing something for a while and we are willing to fill that gap. We could happily fit The Thrill Electric into our lineup, serialising the story on our half hour of TV gold, the perfect match. Are we trying to shamelessly self-promote ourselves off the back of this unrelated, unconnected, educational digital comic book? In a word...yes, keep 'em peeled Sidekicks.
