This week's something silly is brought to you by the good people at HBO and the wildly entertaining hit TV show Bored to Death. I'm a big fan of the show now going into it's second season, it has just the right amount of off-the-wall humour and self indulgent navel gazing that I enjoy. Also, Ted Danson as George, the bored New York socialite publisher man-child is inspired, I've always been a fan of his work from Cheers to Curb your Enthusiasm but this is a new high for me.

The latest episode featured an appearance by Brooklyn's famous Bergen Street Comics, as Ray (Zach Galifianakis) visits the store to see how well his self-published comic, Super Ray, is selling. The store looks fantastic, demonstrating why it is fast becoming so popular amongst the indy Brooklyn crowd with it's understated book store look and original art adorning the walls. This is the comic book shop I want to run one day. If you want to read The Birth of Super Ray by show creator Jonathan Ames and regular artist collaborator, Dean Haspiel you can for free, if not slightly censored, by either clicking on the front cover above or clicking here.
