It's all go in Hollywood at the moment when it comes to hiring and firing on several comic book flicks. According to Ainitcool Stuart Townsend is off Thor and being replaced by Joshua Dallas in the role of Fandral. The official line is this was due to 'creative differences' but there is a rumour circulating that it was because he turned up 6 hours late to a screen test. He's not one of the Warriors Three, he's a very naughty boy.

Next up is the legend that is John Malkovich, just like a Charlie Kaufman story he seems to be bloody everywhere. Not content with snatching a role in the movie adaptation of Warren Ellis' Red that once belonged to John C. Reilly he's reportedly set to play the Vulture in Spider-Man 4. This not only gives us casting news but also ends the speculation as to who the next Spidey villain will be, I would still really like to see The Lizard but would rather not have villain overload like Spidey 3.

And last but by no means least Blake Lively of Gossip Girl fame has signed on to play Carol Ferris to Ryan Reynolds Hal Jordan in the Greeen Lantern movie. Personally I've never seen Gossip Girl and have no idea how good this casting is but as long as she's hot with a bit of sass I'm sure she'll be fine.
